I took a one day bus trip to Niigata, the north-east side of Japan, with my parents on 25th Feb. Niigata prefecture is a famous for SNOW in Japan! We were wondering the weather at there that day, fortunately, it was a very warm and sunny day!

We took the bus again and moved to Shiozawashuku(塩沢宿).
The city of Shiozawashuku(塩沢宿). It is the very old city and has a long history. The buildings on the main street keep traditional styles.

The very old Hina-dolls(ひな人形), the dolls has been decorated on March wishing for girls grow. We decolate them now, too. The 3rd of March is the day for girls.
These look very modern Hina-dolls.

We found very luxurious Hina-dolls on the way. According to the instruction, these dolls were made by four professionals using four different traditional techniques.
Why luxurious Hina-dolls? It says the set of dolls costs 5,000,000 yen (app. $50,000) of much to make!!!!!
